I have always loved Native American horses and horses of the Americas. The Native American respect for horses and their bonds as portrayed through movies like Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron and Dances with Wolves is always beautigul to me. The decorations they use to tell stories and represent a horse's experiences and achievements fascinates me. I loved being able to add colour and feathers to this portrait and learn about the meanings behind each marking.
